Bible Study/Sunday School

Parent's Night Out

Four to five times a year, our children's ministries combine to host a Parent's Night Out, where parents of children from birth through sixth grade can leave their children for a fun evening at the church, while they have a date, go shopping, relax or whatever.

Each Parent's Night Out is from 6.00 - 10.00 p.m. All workers are Child Approved in accordance with our Child and Youth Protection Policy .

Children's Day

Each year we host a special Children's Day in September.

This year (2008), it will be at the church on September 21, with special services focused on the children, a potluck lunch and fun activties. Children will participate in the church services and there will be carnival games and other fun things after lunch.

Youth/Children Nights

The Youth Ministry hosts a few children's nights over the year, to give younger children a taste of what the youth get to do each week and provide opportunities for them to have fun activities.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, the church hosts a Vacation Bible School each night of the week (Monday through Friday) for all ages - babies through adults. There is a theme for each VBS that is used for all material in each class. In 2006, the theme was Arctic Edge: Where Adventure Meets Courage. In 2007, the theme was Game Day Central: Where Heroes Are Made™

This year's VBS is June 16-20, 6:30-8:45 p.m. The theme is "Outrigger Island: Living God's Unshakable Truth." Classes for ages 4 through adult. Nursery care for younger children whose parents are attending.

All of our children's ministries are organized and hosted in accordance with our strict Child and Youth Protection Policy. This policy protects your children by ensuring that every person interacting with your children has been carefully screened to make sure they have the best interests of your children at heart and would never do anything to harm them in any way.
