Our church is an autonomous fellowship. We choose to cooperate with over 40,000 other Southern Baptist churches in all U.S. states and territories as well as in Canada to support over 10,000 missionaries around the world. Our Cooperative Program also provides for numerous other ministries in all 50 states and in over 130 countries abroad, including children's homes, hospitals, colleges and six seminaries.

We regularly have members participating throughout the year in short term mission projects in the US and abroad.

We also support mission endeavors by giving a substantial percentage of our offerings received to help in various mission causes here in California and around the world.

In the summer of 2003, the Youth Ministry went to Kingston, Ontario, Canada to join with other churches from the USA for the International M-FUGE mission event at that location.

In 2004, we went to Guadalajara Mexico for a week of ministry and mission. We painted a bedroom at an orphanage and led a backyard Bible Club for the children, organized other children's programs at various sites, and helped in many practical ways with church building programs.

The summer of 2005 saw us go to South Carolina (via Georgia, where we stayed briefly with Exter's parents) where we showed God's love by doing repair work on the homes of Seniors, teaming with the local Methodist and Presbyterian churches. Some of us repaired a porch, others built hand rails for the steps from a lady's porch, some patched a leaking roof, and we replaced a bathroom floor and repaired a verandah at another home.

In the summer of 2006, we didn't do a mission trip per se, but we did go to STRAM camp (at Cisco Grove near Soda Springs, CA) and one day of our week there was spent ministering to the owners of the camp site, by making some big changes to a garden area near the entrance to the campsite.
